KING WILKIE is an aggressive alternative bluegrass band who has made a career of defying expectations. Now based in New York City, the band’s third album is King Wilkie Presents: The Wilkie Family Singers , a concept CD where a fictional world of musical siblings and other characters. Guests on the CD include Abigail Washburn, Peter Rowan, David Bromberg, Robyn Hitchcock, and John McEuen.
