Sam Bush Band
SAM BUSH is the Grammy Award winning multi-instrumentalist who helped to expand the horizons of bluegrass music, fusing it with jazz, rock, blues, funk and other styles. He's the co-founder of the genre-bending band New Grass Revival, and played with everyone from Emmylou Harris, Bela Fleck to Lyle Lovett and Garth Brooks. Though Bush is best known for jaw-dropping skills on the mandolin, he is also a three time national junior fiddle champion and a Grammy award winning vocalist. Alternately known as the King of Telluride and the King of Newgrass, Bush has been honored by the Americana Music Association and the International Bluegrass Music Association. Sam will be appearing on WoodSongs with his band as the sole guest on the broadcast to celebrate his seventh solo album and sixth on Sugar Hill Records Circles Around Me. We are very proud to welcome back this musical legend to the WoodSongs stage.,
