NOTE: the communities along tornado alley are STILL hurting, STILL struggling and STILL trying to put their families, lives and businesses together. I didn’t want to show more negative photos of the tornado destruction, still breathtaking in damage and scope. Keep these folks in your hearts and thoughts.

“THANK YOU” AIN’T GOOD ENOUGH when you consider the absolutely massive effort that it took to deliver hundreds of music instruments from around the country.

Artists like Rhonda L Vincent, Tommy Emmanuel, Darin Aldridge and Brooke Justice Aldridge, Billy Dean, Exile and others voices their support publicly.I can’t list everybody in this little post but I certainly have to include Catherine Currier (world’s bestest music store) Jason Ashcraft (world’s bestest PR dude) Douglas Lewis and Danny Loevenguth (world’s bestest Truck co-pilots) Madison Sutton (world’s bestest project organizer) Melissa (world’s bestest music instrument hand out person and twins wrangler) Karyn Czar Cheri Lawson Wendy Barnett Jim Monaghan and Jack Pattie (world’s bestest radio folks) Caleb & Makayla (world’s bestest 7-year-olds constantly tugging on daddy’s shirt trying to talk to him while he’s busy doing 100 other things at the same time twins) Perry Brake (world’s bestest SongFarmer instrument collector) Brian Penix and Tommy Emmanuel (world’s bestest at being the bestest) Linda Griffin Slagel and Roy Noble (world’s bestest KENTUCKY hometown water company and arts supporters)

Honestly, there are so many others this list would go on and on so let me just say a huge thank you to everyone including all the music stores, Martin Guitars, D’Addario, Dan Swain at the Newport Folk Festival, everybody at the distribution points in Mayfield, DAWSON SPRINGS in Owensboro, all the folks in the media that were so generous with their airtime. You helped make a lot of people who lost everything they had in the massive tornado storms of December very happy.

And you helped us build a musical front porch around the world …

MJ
